  • General-purpose hydraulic hoses from reputable brands
  • Filters and basic consumables

What I won't compromise on:

  • Critical drive and control components (pumps, valves, electronic control units)
  • Anything that requires a major teardown to replace if it fails
  • Parts for machines still under warranty

I also verify my vendors now. That's a lesson from 2023, when I ordered a swing gear assembly from a broker who couldn't provide proper sourcing documentation. It failed in eight months, and the manufacturer's warranty team wouldn't touch it. $4,100 lesson.
